Veronica and Elijah met through friends of friends. He is friends with PJ and she is friends with Ashley. Last summer, PJ and Elijah went on a “friend-cation” with Ashley, and Elijah and Ashley became friends. Later that year, Ashley threw a party for her fiancé and invited Elijah. Unbeknownst to him his future wife would be there. As he tells it, he walked in to Ashley’s house and saw this stunning girl sitting at the counter. Well even though he is a very outgoing guy he just couldn’t get the nerve to walk over and talk to her. Hours pass and as the night drones on, he finally decides this is the time. He walks over to where she’s sitting to make his first move and says “Hey, you’re super cute, can I get your number?” and she says “No”. The fortunate thing was he was used to rejection and didn’t let it phase him. He lets a few more minutes pass by as he’s making small talk with her and works up the courage to ask again but this time she doesn’t have a say in the matter because her friend Brittany would decide her fate for her. “Can I have your number?” he says and Brittany screams out “HERE IT IS!” and lays out all of her digits for him.
